I was confused by it, because it was so different from other Bond flicks. That is until I went to imdb and saw that the working title for the script was Bond Begins. The lack of Q, the Bond theme at the beginning with floating women, and a crazy world dominating plot, it all made sense then. I really liked the overall idea, a kind of rites of passage to become a 00, and specifically 007. ... Other than that the movie dragged in places, especially the card games, but still was a treat to watch, even though car chases and explosions were probably reduced 30%. ... Also possibly the worst theme song of any Bond flick-- not the stupidest, just the worst. Recommended, and highly for Bond's fans.
