A guide to boredom. Yawn! Trying to cram way too much story into too little movie is generally a bad idea, making it dreadfully dull to boot, just horrible. Painful to sit through, this flick could be seen pleasantly on DvD when you can make a sandwich, talk on the phone, or read a book-- maybe even read Adams' original sci-fi masterpiece. The upshot, not enough of the guide, and choppy, dated characters. 20 years ago? ... Maybe. Today? Well, beam me up. Mind numbing and forgettable.
