*This was Rachel's last movie with me-- with us-- so as much of her perspective is reflected in theses reviews, at the very least her vibe-- she would hasten me to add, as I did not, that she was especially taken with Smith's shower scene. A little eye-candy for the ladies.*

Not your average Hollywood version of a classic novel in that it's not bad in so as far as being an entirely different story.  There a robots, there are scientists … Hmmm? Did I mention the robots?  Overall, though it's a pretty good action movie, and Smith brings energy to the screen, but more important it tries to mirror the author's intent ... basically in a bland kind of way.  … Good visuals though, and recommended. Especially if you've never read or heard of the book.
