Ah, the con movie. A great thing when it’s done well. Here? Well, it was pretty predictable and blah, blah on the ending’s twist. The true standout here is Lucy’s best role ever. She does comedy very well. I was deeply impressed. Everyone else was pretty much a cardboard cutout of characters we’ve seen way too many times in movies. Kind of a waste of talent overall. But this is a romp/con movie, so there are a few laughs here too-- not enough to carry the movie however. What recommendation I can give though comes on the strength of Lucy's performance. If you’re a Lucy fan this is a must see movie, if you’re not you can wait for video. It will be there soon.
