Richard Gere, sporting a fake nose I guess, is in his best performance in years-- maybe ever. And what I mean by that is in this flick he isn't his pretty boy Alfa-male role that he's been doing for years, and years, and years. But it's the writing in this movie that really stands out. It's a damn good story that dives into the era of Watergate, and America's obsession with Billionaire Howard Hughes. But it's also a movie about writers and the writing process, and publishing. All of which felt spot on to me. Thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended.
